Picture of hue value scale Most helpful warm up (Texture with paint, Hue Value Scale, skin color, color swatches, brown swatches, grid drawing, Acrylic paint sphere...) Learning texture was helpful to draw my picture. In my opinion, the texture is most important thing to express the object's shape and quality. What place is represented in your art?
Universal Studio, in CA. What is important about this place? This picture was taken at Universal Studio, in CA. When I took this picture, I was touring the studios which tooked many of the filmography. Every place where really pretty as artistic, even I had not felt the beauty of building before. This place is one of them. What did you find most challenging about the picture you picked? The texture of road and buildings. They have a rough surface so the color is not fixed. I used a lot of times and variables in this painting to express the "rough". What do you feel is most successful about your piece? The blue building which on the left. Painting that building was a huge challenging to me because that has a lot of colors and value. Some parts look dark, but the other's are light. Tell me about your process. At first, I filled the background with blue. And draw some areas to divide building's border. After that, tried to add more details to that.
